Why hello there! I hope everyone has had a pleasant of a Monday as possible. I’m currently home alone watching the England match, and of course because there’s no way I can give football my full attention for a whole 90 minutes I thought I’d take this opportunity to multitask and do a lil bit of blog work at the same time.
September has come around again (how???) and that means thousands of 18 year olds are travelling to unfamiliar cities across the country to start their next chapter. Liverpool is no exception and as students are starting to arrive I’m becoming painfully aware that this is the second year that I’m not one of them. When did I get so old? I swear I just finished my A-Levels five minutes ago. Don’t get me wrong, I’m SO thankful that I’m past the days of staying in the library until the early hours of the morning before a deadline (5:30am on one occasion – F U dissertation), but there are some things that make me envious of students.
I did one of these posts a few months ago and I really enjoyed writing about some things I’ve been loving recently. It’s also nice to condense what I’ve actually been enjoying and seeing it all written down – it’s oddly calming for some reason. So, without further ado, here comes a random stream of thoughts containing the things I’ve been loving this month.
Over the last few months I’ve been slowly but surely making a mental list of some staple pieces that I want to invest in throughout the coming months. It pretty much consists of the standard basics that either I don’t already own, or would like to update this year. One thing that I challenged myself to find was the perfect (and affordable) leather jacket.
