I’ve recently been seeing a lot of people sharing their aims and ambitions across the internet, both on YouTube and blogs. I love setting myself goals and challenges (although I don’t always achieve many of them) so I thought I’d do the same. I was originally going to share my 25 before 25 list, but I realised that I’m only giving myself about two and a half years to accomplish all these things which is very unrealistic. So, 30 before 30 it is!
Unwinding in January
I don’t know about you but I’m always drained and exhausted in January. It’s back to work, throwing yourself into your new year’s resolutions and trying to restrain yourself from ordering that pizza (I did fail at this yesterday). You feel like you should be refreshed after a week off at Christmas, but let’s face it – it’s never a relaxing period and you feel like you could do with another week to recover.
Reflecting on Blogging
It’s almost been a year since I started my blog (1st January will mark its first birthday to be precise) and I don’t think I ever anticipated how much I’d enjoy doing it. Juggling a full time job and a blog is definitely a difficult and stressful task – one that I often fall short of, but I love it nonetheless.
Celebrating the Little Things
A few weeks ago my friends and I were having one of our usual chats at work when somehow the topic of gratefullness came up. It’s a conversation that has stuck with me for some reason and it has put a lot of things into perspective for me ever since, so much so that I thought I’d share it on here.
