We’ve been very lucky in the UK this bank holiday weekend, the sun has been shining for the past four days and temperatures have been north of 20 degrees Celsius which has been a dream. I decided to take the days off, for the most part anyway, to spend as much time as possible soaking up some good old Vitamin D whilst we still have this weather.
3 Outfits for Spring
Spring has just about sprung. My big coats are being reached for less and less, and my painfully pale legs are starting to make an appearance. This time of year can be tricky when it comes to putting outfits together – the sun can be shining one minute, and the heavens can open the next. I thought I’d share three outfits to hopefully make getting dressed in the mornings just a little bit easier.
A Spring Outfit
It’s hard to imagine that these images were taken on an uncharacteristically warm day in February, when April’s weather is so gloomy at the moment. The rain has made me appreciate the fact that I have a week away in Spain booked for a couple of months time, that’s for sure. I guess they don’t call them ‘April Showers’ for nothing.
The Leopard Print Satin Skirt
It’s no secret that satin slip skirts have been doing the rounds over the last few months. You could throw a stone into any highstreet shop and the chances are pretty good that you’ll hit one. They come in all different colours and patterns and you probably have at least one in your wardrobe already.
My Top Tips for Productivity
I’ve been working for myself for a little while now, so obviously that means that I have to self motivate a lot and ensure that may days are well spent. There’s no better feeling than shutting your laptop and plonking yourself on the sofa for an evening with Netflix after a productive day. So with that in mind, I thought I’d do a little blog post of some tried and tested (by me) tips that I find really help me get through my daily to-do lists.
