We’ve been very lucky in the UK this bank holiday weekend, the sun has been shining for the past four days and temperatures have been north of 20 degrees Celsius which has been a dream. I decided to take the days off, for the most part anyway, to spend as much time as possible soaking up some good old Vitamin D whilst we still have this weather.
A Spring Outfit
It’s hard to imagine that these images were taken on an uncharacteristically warm day in February, when April’s weather is so gloomy at the moment. The rain has made me appreciate the fact that I have a week away in Spain booked for a couple of months time, that’s for sure. I guess they don’t call them ‘April Showers’ for nothing.
The Midi Skirt
I’ve got to say that I’ve never really been a fan of midi skirts on myself. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love them on other people but I just didn’t feel ‘me’ whenever I tried one on. I’ve always been a mini skirt kinda gal and I doubt this will change any time soon. However, my opinions on midi skirts recently changed when I met this leopard print number.
MY LIFE: 03
Why hello there! I hope everyone has had a pleasant of a Monday as possible. I’m currently home alone watching the England match, and of course because there’s no way I can give football my full attention for a whole 90 minutes I thought I’d take this opportunity to multitask and do a lil bit of blog work at the same time.
May Favourites
Why hi there, hello, how are you all? It’s a pretty dreary day in Liverpool which is unfortunate seeing as every day I’ve been in work this week it’s been absolutely beautiful. But oh well, there’s not much we can do about it except for cross our fingers that Sunday will see the return of some sunshine – I’ve checked my weather app and I don’t want to jinx it but we’re looking good guys. Whilst it’s drizzling away outside I thought I’d take the opportunity to get comfy and catch you up on some of the things I took a shine to during the month of May. And yes, I, like the rest of the world, am in shock that it’s June already.
