I’ve been working for myself for a little while now, so obviously that means that I have to self motivate a lot and ensure that may days are well spent. There’s no better feeling than shutting your laptop and plonking yourself on the sofa for an evening with Netflix after a productive day. So with that in mind, I thought I’d do a little blog post of some tried and tested (by me) tips that I find really help me get through my daily to-do lists.
Happy Friday folks! The weekend is finally here and all I can think about is the Chinese takeaway that I’m more than likely to devour in a few hours time. My week has pretty much been spent working from the comfort of my sofa surrounded by tissues, but I wanted to do a little weekly round-up of some things I’ve been enjoying over the past seven days.
Hello and Happy New Year! It’s slightly (very) belated but better late than never eh? My January, as I’m sure is the case with many others, has been accompanied by the dreaded winter cold/sickness bug/general feelings of unwellness. My very generous boyfriend, always eager to share, passed me over his cold symptoms and of course I just had to top it by adding in some vomit too – charming, I know. So whilst I’m feeling sorry for myself on the sofa, I thought I’d share a recent outfit I shot with Dan last week, aka the good old times when I had my health.
I recently shared a reflection of my 2018 over on my Instagram stories, but it’s been a pretty exciting year for me so I thought I would expand on it over on my blog, too. I even managed to tick a couple of things off my 30 Before 30 Bucket List, which you can read here, which I was not expecting to be able to do so soon!
December is well and truly here which means that party season is just around the corner. I for one am very excited to eat my body weight in mince pies and drink copious amounts of fizz without feeling any guilt whatsoever because there’s no such thing as guilt at Christmas time.
