Why hello there! I hope everyone has had a pleasant of a Monday as possible. I’m currently home alone watching the England match, and of course because there’s no way I can give football my full attention for a whole 90 minutes I thought I’d take this opportunity to multitask and do a lil bit of blog work at the same time.
The last week or so has been a blur and jam packed, but the highlight has got to be seeing Taylor Swift in Manchester. Honestly, just let me be her already. I actually wasn’t planning on going until my sister called me on the day saying her friend was too ill to go with her, and I very kindly volunteered to take her place. That poor girl’s sickness bug is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I’ve wanted to see Taylor Swift live for the longest time and she did not disappoint one bit. I don’t know if there are any tickets left for the rest of the tour but if there is I would highly recommend grabbing one.
Since my last blog post I’ve also gotten a new phone wahoo! It was pretty spontaneous but after realising I could repair my cracked iPhone 7 Screen for £150 or upgrade to the iPhone 8 Plus for £40 my decision was pretty easily made. As a ‘blogger’/’instagrammer’/’someone trying to take a decent photo’ I was most excited about the raved about Portrait Mode feature and by george I am not disappointed. I have become obsessed with taking pictures and trying to make everything look #BLOGGER. I’ve taken an absolutely stunning photo of a glass of water in a Carling pint glass we robbed from the pub. So blogger. If I’m ever feeling generous I might just share it with you all.
In other news, I got Egypt for the World Cup sweepstake at work which after their first match I’ve got to say I’m not too happy about. Do they not know that I have £60 resting on them winning this thing? Think of all the shoes I could buy. Well, probably only one pair but that’s still two shoes that I don’t already own. If someone could pass them the message that the stakes are high for me then that would be very much appreciated.
I hope you don’t mind that this blog post is very disjointed and basically my train of thoughts put to paper (or, screen) because I just have to share my excitement with everybody, including you, that my holiday is only 5 weeks away!! I cannot put into words just how much I am looking forward to it. I’m jetting off to the US of A, Florida to be precise and I’m like a child at Christmas. Just get me some sun, sand and theme parks and I will be one happy chappy.
