I did one of these posts a few months ago and I really enjoyed writing about some things I’ve been loving recently. It’s also nice to condense what I’ve actually been enjoying and seeing it all written down – it’s oddly calming for some reason. So, without further ado, here comes a random stream of thoughts containing the things I’ve been loving this month.
1. GILMORE GIRLS
It had been years since I last watched an episode and one day a few weeks ago I had a craving for a bit of Lorelei and Rory, and ever since I have been rewatching the whole series. I’m loving coming home from work, popping my pjs on and slobbing on the sofa for the evening.
2. PAMPER EVENINGS
I am absolutely loving pampering myself at the moment. Having a nice relaxing bubble bath, a face mask, some skin care… a little bit of self love goes a long way. My friend very kindly put together a pamper hamper for my birthday which I think rekindled my love for the whole shebang.
We’ve recently just renewed the contract for our fully furnished flat so I’m not able to get busy furniture shopping just yet, but I’ve suddenly become obsessed with planning out my perfect home. I’m loving browsing through homeware inspo online and I’m slowly putting together a pretty hefty (and currently pointless) pinterest board full of ideas for my perfect home. I’m also nowhere near financially stable enough to do any of it yet, but a girl can dream.
4. EATING OUT MORE
Since both my boyfriend and I started full time jobs, we’ve been loving eating out more. It’s nothing extravagant or fancy, but we’ve started a little Sunday routine where we try out a restaurant in the afternoon, or go for a nice breakfast somewhere. Eating out is one of the things I like the most in life so being able to do it more is something I’ve been loving recently.
5. EMMA HILL
I’ve followed blogger Emma Hill on instagram for quite some time now but I’ve only recently discovered her YouTube channel and I have quickly become obsessed with her. Her wardrobe (and family of dogs) is to die for and she seems like a pretty fun gal. I thought this blog post was the perfect place to mention her as I just wanted to share some lady love.
