Hello all! I hope you’ve had a lovely Easter and are as full of chocolate as I am. I’m currently eyeing up my last egg and trying to resist it for as long as possible. Not sure how long it’s going to last. Anyway, I’m back today after a short break with a new Talking Trends post. It’s no secret that pink is everywhere at the moment, and I for one am absolutely loving it. So, when I was doing my regular scroll through the Zara app, I instantly fell in love with these UH-MAZING jeans. Both this baby pink colour and ruffles are incredibly popular at the moment, so they tick all the boxes for spring/summer. I’ve had many a compliment on them so far including from a stranger in Home Bargains, and my boyfriends 6 year old niece who told me they make me look like a cowgirl. Not entirely sure if that’s a good thing or not, but I will take it. I’ve been trying to inject a bit more colour into my mostly monochromatic wardrobe recently, and these are a pretty good addition if you ask me. If you want to see how I’m getting on with that, you can check out my instagram (@daisycuttings) where I share outfit pictures most days!
Sticking with the colours theme, I paired the jeans with a navy blue slogan tee. I know, I know, navy isn’t exactly a daring colour, but at least it’s not black or white! I will definitely be pairing these with a white tee in the near future though… This top is another new addition to my wardrobe, because I’ve been really loving slogan tees at the moment. I love this one from Topshop, and I also picked up another one which says ‘Ferme La Bouche’ which I’m sure will be gracing my blog very soon.
Right, I’ve got to go as I don’t think I can take another minute of not eating my egg. Thanks for reading!
